ask for feedback. No one started off taking fantastic pictures. Feedback and critiques aren't always fun, but they are integral to the growth process

How do you keep your shots so uniformed? (Same hand positions, bottle shots, etc.)

Canon Rebel T6 with a 17-55mm lens

Has swatching changed your relationship with nail polish? How?
yes. I don't really do manicures for my own sake anymore. If I wear a polish for a day, I feel like I used to after a week.
Favorite collection you've swatched? Or favorite PPU polish you've swatched?
I really don't know if I could pick a favorite.
Favorite finish to photograph? Least favorite finish?
I love creams, because they are easier to photograph. I hate neons.
Any fun stories to come out of swatching? Like strange things you did to get the photo? Weird poses? Stuff that felt like a disaster in the moment but was funny later?
After five+ years of taking low-light photos, someone popped up with complaints. Like...what? I found it funny, because when I tried to engage them in a discussion they had nothing to say.

How much time do you spend each week swatching, taking photos, etc?
at my height, too much. Hours and hours.

lotion, lotion, lotion
Who’s a swatcher you watch/admire and why?
Alice Huang. I enjoy the "glamour shot" look of her images. Lisa Heath is my go-to for accuracy and clarity.
Given all the swatching, how often do you get to actually wear polish for yourself?
rarely.
How many bottles of nail polish do you own? How many do you actually use?
too mani? too many.

in helmers in my closet. I have 4ish.
