Phoenician Dusk.000 is a mulberry purple base lifted with shimmering gold, green and red color shifting flakies and is inspired by the legendary origins of Tyrian Purple dye! Legend has it that the Phoenician god Melqart discovered the dye from his dog's mouth after the pup bit into a sea snail. In reality, the dye was extracted from the mucus of the Murex brandaris and Purpura haemostoma sea snails first by the Phoenicians in the 16th century, and was used to make expensive clothing for royalty and the wealthy.
