Charity Information for June 2021

June is Pride Month here in the US. Pride Month is for...the promotion of the self-affirmation, dignity, equality, and increased visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people as a social group. Pride, as opposed to shame and social stigma, is the predominant outlook that bolsters most LGBT rights movements.* We at PPU want to let our family, friends, and customers that we want to be the best allies that we possibly can be. And happily our customers agree!

Our (superawesomeamazing) customers chose Rainbows as the theme for June, and our family of brands stepped up and in addition to creating some fantastical and amazing items this month, they are also donating a portion of the proceeds to some of their favorite charities. If you are interested in supporting some awesome groups and sparkling like a rainbow while doing so, check out these beauties!

 

 

We believe in leading by example whenever possible, so Polish Pickup will be featuring a $1 donation listing to GLSEN, which believes every student has the right to a safe, supportive, and LGBTQ-inclusive K-12 education. We will be matching your donations up to $1000, because this is a cause in which we believe.
