Phantom Shoreline is inspired by the optical illusion of a Fata Morgana - where distant horizons seem to shift, shimmer, and reveal coastlines that aren't really there.
This solar and thermal polish transitions through shades of pink (cold, no UV) to sheer white (warm, no UV) to magenta or even purple (cold, with UV) to a lilac blue (warm, with UV). Finished with matte black flakes and iridescent orange flakes, it captures the mystery of light and illusion meeting at sea at dusk.
Information concerning solar polish: for best results, apply a top coat that doesn't contain UV filers like Benzophenone, Etocrylene, Octocrylene, as these can weaken the transition in natural sunlight.
The intensity of the color transition depends on the strength of the sunlight and may vary due to weather conditions etc.
The color changing effect won’t last forever - so in order to preserve this effect as long as possible, store your color changing polishes in a dark and cool place.
