Inspired by Okunoin in Koyasan in Japan. It is a sacred Buddhist site and cemetery on Mount Kōya. Every time my partner and I travel to Japan we visit, sometimes with the privilege of staying in one of the local Buddhist Temple lodgings. Okunoin holds a lot of peace for the soul and is extremely grounding. It's beautiful, no matter what season we visit and easily one can spend hours here exploring, taking in the immensity of history here. There is a monument in memory of the soldiers of Japan and Australia who passed during World War 2 as they were ordered to North Borneo in cooperation. We prey there each time, for their peaceful rest. I always recommend his location as a must-see travel spot for those visiting Japan. Our colour is a muted rosewood brown base overlaid with a strong green shimmer, which flips to purple. We recommend 2-3 coats, and hope you enjoy this shade as it reminds us of our travels to such a sacred site.
