Please note that certain top coats that contain the ingredients etocrylene AND benzophenone, which are UV absorbers, can diminish the effectiveness of the transition capabilities of solar nail lacquers. For maximum effect, Alchemy Lacquers recommends using top coats without these two ingredients or benzophenone as the last ingredient.
Additionally, there are a lot of variables that factor into transitions of solar nail lacquers. The transition can depend on the intensity of direct UV rays, just like thermals depend on body temperature. There can be a range of shade changes depending on light intensity level. Lighting source is indicated on all transitioned swatch photos.
Solar nail lacquers are also delicate when it comes to extreme temperature changes (especially during transit and delivery) which can affect the transition abilities of the nail lacquer. Do not leave them in extreme heat or cold for extended periods of time. To increase the longevity of a solar nail lacquers transition capabilities, it is recommended to keep the bottle in a dark place with consistent temperatures.
